October 26 will be our first Greek roots test. If you've lost your notes, please access my notes on Greek terms. Be ready to define the term, provide an example, and define words made up of combinations of the roots.

Summaries are due 10/25
Summaries on the article paraphrased about the topics related to Speak are due at the end of the day Monday. Rules for writing a summary:
1) Summaries should not contain your own opinion.
2) Summaries should be approximately 1/3 the length of the original.
3) Summaries should begin with a topic sentence that contains the author, title, and main idea of the article summarized.
4) Facts in the summary should be presented in the same order as the original.
